Ko Jin-young, ranked 4th in the world and challenging for a medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, will play alongside Nelly Korda (USA), the gold medalist from the 2020 Tokyo Games. According to the grouping for the women's golf event at the Paris Olympics announced on the 5th (local time), Ko Jin-young was grouped with Korda and Lin Xiyu (China) for rounds 1 and 2. She will start the first round at 4:55 PM KST on the 7th at the Le Golf National Olympic Course (par 72) in Guyancourt, near Paris, France, from the 1st hole.

Although Ko Jin-young has not won on the LPGA Tour this season, she is one of Korea's leading players with a total of 15 wins and has held the world No. 1 ranking for a long time. Korda is the defending champion who won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. She is the strongest player this year, maintaining the world No. 1 ranking with six wins on the LPGA Tour. Lin Xiyu, ranked 5th in the world, has three LPGA Tour wins, including last year's major KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

Yang Hee-young, ranked 3rd in the world and the highest-ranked Korean player, will play alongside France's star C?line Boutier (world No. 7) and world No. 2 Lilia Vu (USA). Yang Hee-young will tee off at 6:55 PM KST on the 7th. Kim Hyo-joo, ranked 12th in the world, was grouped with Brooke Henderson (Canada) and Lin Xiyu (China). Kim Hyo-joo will start at 5:11 PM KST on the 7th.
