On the 4th (local time), at the Columbia Edgewater Country Club (par 72, 6,478 yards) in Portland, Oregon, USA, Anna Lin finished the 4th round of the LPGA Tour Portland Classic (total prize money $1.75 million) with a 6-under-par 66, finishing tied for 2nd place (20-under-par 268). She achieved her best personal result this year and made the top 10 four times.
Starting from a tie for 12th place, 5 strokes behind, Anna Lin recorded 1 eagle and 5 birdies (1 bogey). She gained momentum with 4 consecutive birdies from holes 4 to 7, and reduced her score by 1 stroke again at the 10th hole (par 5). She made a hole-in-one at the 16th hole (par 3) to chase the leader, but a bogey at the 18th hole (par 4) left her in second place.
Moriya Jutanugarn (Thailand) surged with a 6-under-par round to claim victory by 2 strokes (22-under-par 266). This marked her third career win in three years since she teamed up with her younger sister Ariya Jutanugarn to win the 2021 Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational, a two-player team event. The winner's prize money was $262,500 (approximately 360 million KRW). LPGA rookie So-mi Lee tied for 5th place (19-under-par 269), while Ji-won Jeon and Ariya tied for 9th place (17-under-par 271).
