A man in his 60s dies while playing in the water at Dongsang Valley, Wanju-gun, Jeonbuk

At around 11:24 a.m. on the 4th, A (69) who was playing in the water with family members at Dongsang Valley in Sinwol-ri, Dongsang-myeon, Wanju-gun, Jeonbuk, drowned and died.

A fellow vacationer who was playing in the water with A pulled him out of the water and performed CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and called 119. The paramedics continued CPR upon arrival and transported A to Jeonbuk National University Hospital, but he ultimately passed away.

The fire department and police stated, "It appears that A could not get out of the deep water," and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident by questioning the group.
