Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the participants of the '2024 Mapo District Summer Vacation English Camp' on the morning of the 3rd to offer his support.
On this day, 80 students from 4th to 6th grade in local elementary schools attending the English camp gathered in front of the Mapo District Office, made a pledge to improve their English skills, and then departed for Incheon English Village, cheered on by Mayor Park Gang-su and their parents.
The Mapo District English Camp, which attracted 459 applicants for 80 spots due to its high popularity, will be held for 2 days and 1 night from August 3rd to 4th at Incheon English Village.
This English camp was planned to help increase interest in English and motivate learning by allowing participants to directly experience various programs based on English, thereby aiding in improving their English skills.
Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo District said, “I hope this opportunity will be a time for our Mapo children to grow one step further,” and added, “The district will continue to take the lead in providing diverse and beneficial educational environments for youth.”
