Visited an Abandoned House and Found a White Car Behind the Building
After Knocking on the Vehicle with No Response, Reported to Police
Police and Firefighters Rush to the Scene for Confirmation
A YouTuber filming haunted house exploration content discovered an actual corpse while visiting an abandoned house. On the 1st, an internet broadcaster (BJ) 'Dosauchi' uploaded a video titled 'Rest in Peace' on his YouTube channel. In the video, he and a friend visited a villa that appeared uninhabited and, while looking around, found a white car parked behind the building.
He found it strange that a car was parked in a remote area behind the villa, where access was difficult due to broken trees and other obstacles. Speculating that the driver might have briefly parked and fallen asleep, they approached the vehicle. In the video, although it was difficult to identify the inside of the car due to dark tinting, as they got closer, the shape of a person became visible to the naked eye.
The YouTuber and his friend tried knocking on the car windows and checking if the doors would open to see the condition of the occupant. However, there was no sign of life inside the vehicle. Eventually, they left evidence through a live broadcast and reported it to 112. The police who arrived at the scene inspected the vehicle, and when there was no response from the occupant, firefighters who arrived later forcibly opened the car door. It was confirmed that the occupant inside the vehicle was already a deceased body.

Dosauchi expressed his condolences, saying, "If we had come a little earlier for the exploration, if we had found them while they were still alive, I cannot shake off the regret and sorrow," and added, "Rest in peace." Netizens who saw the video responded with comments such as "Although unintentional, you did a good deed," and "It's fortunate that the body was found before being alone for a longer time."
This is not the first time YouTubers have discovered corpses during abandoned house experiences. Previously, around December 2020, YouTuber A, who was filming abandoned house exploration content in Wonju, found a corpse inside an abandoned house and reported it to the police. Also, in February of the same year, YouTuber B visited an abandoned house in Jeungpyeong-gun, Chungbuk, to create video content and found a corpse, reporting it to the police. Near the skeletonized body were burnt charcoal briquettes and a suicide note. In April 2019, YouTuber C also visited the third floor of a closed hot spring lodging facility in Ulju-gun, Ulsan, to create abandoned house experience content and found a corpse estimated to be in their 50s. Around the discovered body, notes and identification cards were found.
