LG Electronics is hosting its first summer event and special exhibition featuring LG DIOS kitchen appliances on the official LG Electronics website from August 5 to August 31 to welcome the summer season.

The products featured in this special exhibition are LG DIOS dishwashers and induction cooktops, designed to help you stay cool and hygienic during the summer.

The LG DIOS dishwasher uses 100℃ ‘TrueSteam’ technology to eliminate 99.999% of harmful bacteria and viruses, making it an essential appliance during summer when the risk of food poisoning increases. It also includes a water softening device that reduces lime scale in the water, minimizing water spots on dishes?perfect for summer when glassware is frequently used for cold drinks and fruit punch shaved ice. Additionally, it allows you to finish washing dishes with just one button, relieving the stress of piled-up dishes and helping you enjoy a comfortable summer even when discomfort levels rise. The 2024 new model kindly notifies users via voice through the ThinQ app to recommend full sterilization coaching after running the first wash cycle more than 30 times. Moreover, it provides convenient voice guidance for consumable replacement timing, course start and end, making it even more user-friendly.

The induction cooktop operates by generating heat directly in induction-compatible cookware through an electromagnetic field. Since it cooks without an open flame, the temperature difference around the cooking zone before and after cooking is minimal, allowing for comfortable use even in hot summer. In particular, the LG DIOS induction cooktop applies a ‘Quad Inverter’ that heats low-efficiency cookware up to 2.3 times faster compared to the 2021 model, shortening cooking time. It also boasts ultra-high efficiency by enhancing heating performance with a ‘5-layer ultra-high power booster,’ reducing electricity costs. The new model released in July adds a ‘Boiling Alert’ feature that automatically adjusts heat by predicting boiling levels during soup cooking using a pre-trained big data-based temperature prediction algorithm. LG DIOS dishwashers and induction cooktops are also available through appliance subscription services, expanding customer choices. Using the subscription service reduces initial purchase costs and provides regular expert care services, making maintenance easier. Subscribers receive internal cleaning, full sterilization cleaning, and food waste filter replacement services for dishwashers, and total exterior cleaning, coating, and polishing services for induction cooktops. This is especially reassuring during the hygiene-critical summer season, allowing customers to use their appliances with confidence. Additionally, experts meticulously manage parts that are difficult for users to maintain themselves, providing even greater convenience.

Alongside this special exhibition, LG Electronics is also running a ‘First Summer Sharing Event’ on its website. Anyone using LG DIOS dishwashers or induction cooktops can participate. Participants can share photos of their LG DIOS dishwasher or induction cooktop in use and share how these appliances have changed their summer daily life. All participants will receive a coffee coupon, and outstanding reviewers and the top reviewer will be awarded an LG DIOS Objet Collection microwave oven and a convection oven, respectively.
