Cheonan City and Asan City in Chungnam Province are launching city tour programs for children during the summer vacation.

Cheonan City is operating the "Cheonan City Tour with Children during Summer Vacation" a total of three times: starting on the 31st of last month, and continuing on the 7th and 14th of this month.

This course includes the Hong Daeyong Science Museum, which commemorates the achievements of Damheon Hong Daeyong, a Joseon Dynasty thinker and scholar from Cheonan, as well as various forest leisure sports such as zip coaster and aerial net at Taejosan Forest Leisure Sports, and the Dosol Plaza Water Playground.

Asan City has linked its city tour to its childcare program. The program aims to reduce the burden on parents by utilizing the city's various experiential resources to address potential childcare gaps during the vacation period.

The city plans to offer ice skating classes, science explanations at the Science Education Center, reading programs at Asan Library, basketball and soccer classes, a water playground, a magic show, and a fermented food experience to 120 elementary school students over four weeks in July and August, using the city tour for safe transportation.

To this end, the Asan Cultural Foundation, Chungnam Asan Professional Football Club, Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education, and Asan Office of Education are each developing and operating the programs.
