According to Shinan-gun on the 2nd, Director Choi Myung-seok and staff visited Shinan-gun Office on the 30th of last month to pledge a scholarship fund of 15 million KRW to the Shinan-gun Scholarship Foundation and delivered 3 million KRW.
Shinan Daewoo Hospital, established in 1979 as a key medical institution in a medically underserved island area, provides medical services to residents of Bigeum-myeon and Dochomyeon, having a significant impact on the local community.

Director Choi Myung-seok stated, “With the help of Shinan-gun, we were able to open a nursing home for the elderly and resolve the staff dormitory issue. In gratitude for the support received from the community, we want to give back,” adding, “Shinan Daewoo Hospital will do its best to provide the best medical services to local residents as a representative medical institution of the region.”
Chairman Park Woo-ryang expressed his thanks, saying, “The precious donation, filled with love and support for local students, will be used fairly and transparently to support students in need of scholarships within the district.”
