Local US broadcaster 'News4' reported on the 29th of last month (local time) that a military vehicle blocked citizens' way home on a Texas highway. The vehicle in question was the M109, a self-propelled howitzer used by the US Army. The self-propelled howitzer is an armored vehicle equipped with a large cannon, weighing between 20 and 25 tons.

The M109, while being transported on a trailer along the highway, suddenly had one of its wheels drop to the ground around 4 p.m. This caused the entire truck with the trailer to come to a stop.
At that time, there was no heavy equipment on the highway capable of towing the M109, which weighs at least 20 tons. Eventually, experts from the heavy equipment towing service company 'Mission Wrecker San Antonio' were mobilized and succeeded in moving the M109 to another location after about four hours.
This highway experienced traffic disruption from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
