Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 31st that it will conduct a "Visiting Environmental Education" program by visiting 37 senior centers in the region until the 21st of next month.
Through the education, the county provides local residents with opportunities to ▲understand the seriousness of the climate crisis ▲practice carbon neutrality to achieve net zero carbon emissions ▲learn how to sort recyclables.

Various hands-on activities such as decorating "upcycled eco-bags" made from discarded banner fabric and making natural detergents were also conducted.
Kim, a resident who participated in the education, said, "It was beneficial to learn the importance of nature conservation and waste separation through the education and experience."
The county plans to continue supporting various educational activities so that more residents can empathize with the need for environmental protection and put it into practice.
