The Jeju Volunteer Fire Brigade Association (President Kim Bong-min, Lee Mi-kyung) announced on the 31st that, as part of activities to create a safe Jeju, they conducted a natural cleanup of the coastline from Daepo to Jungmun in Seogwipo City and carried out a safety campaign.
More than 60 volunteer firefighters participated in this activity, focusing on environmental cleanup by collecting trash washed ashore and maintaining facilities, as well as preventing safety accidents among vacationers.

In addition, a safety campaign was simultaneously promoted to encourage residents and tourists visiting the beach to participate in the "Practice Safety Rules in Daily Life" movement aimed at preventing disaster accidents.
The Jeju Volunteer Fire Brigade plans to continue activities to create a safe Jeju, including coastal cleanup and inspecting local risk factors in preparation for upcoming typhoons and floods.
President Kim Bong-min stated, "With a spirit of volunteer service dedicated to others, we will continue our ongoing activities and fulfill our role as local safety guardians."
