Thematic Learning and Experiential Activities with Native Teachers
The Gyeonggi-do Pyeongtaek International Exchange Foundation will operate a summer vacation English camp for 4 nights and 5 days from the 5th to the 9th of next month at the Pyeongtaek English Education Center Southern Center located in Paengseong-eup.
Since its inception in 2009, this program has been a short-term immersive English education program. This year's camp will shift from recruiting groups from schools, as was done after COVID-19, to individual recruitment.
The camp is composed of experiential programs developed by the Pyeongtaek English Center, focusing on main themes such as world travel, hospitals, markets, and restaurants. Classes will be conducted considering the students' grade levels.
Jung Jong-pil, the foundation's director, said, "The English vacation camp will be a valuable opportunity for students not only to improve their English skills but also to develop confidence, social skills, creativity, and international sensibility."
