Enhanced Investor Search Function and Market-Tailored Information Provision
The key features and accessibility of the ‘Venture Investment Comprehensive Portal (VCS),’ which supports matching between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), venture startups seeking investment, and venture capitalists (VCs), as well as provides reliable venture investment market statistics, have been significantly improved.
On the 31st, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea VC Association announced, “We have newly designed the interface so that not only the general public, companies seeking investment, and investors can access the information they want, but also view notices from venture investment and related organizations, funding projects, card news, and other information at a glance.”
In particular, the investor search function has been enhanced to allow detailed inquiries by fund formation, business age, and sector. Key services such as finding fund-of-funds management companies and the Venture Investment Mart have been gathered in icon form in one place to improve information accessibility. On the main screen, users can quickly navigate according to their user type and purpose of use. Additionally, customized screens based on user devices enable convenient use of new features on both PC and mobile devices.
VCS has been operating since last year to integrate venture investment information scattered across various sources into one platform. Users can search for investors tailored by region and industry, or check various recent statistics related to venture investment. Online applications are also available for corporate presentation (IR) consulting and one-on-one consultations with investment reviewers.
A representative from the Korea VC Association stated, “With this improvement, we expect that the main functions will be more conveniently accessible to users,” and added, “We plan to continuously improve VCS’s investment matching functions and ease of access to investment information by reflecting the demands of the venture investment market participants, and to expand VCS promotion through related organizations in the venture investment ecosystem.”
