Busan Regional Tax Office Holds 'Visiting Tax Class' for Prospective Female Entrepreneurs

Busan City Collaborates for Customized National and Local Tax Lectures

Busan Regional Tax Office (Commissioner Kim Dongil) collaborated with Busan City (Mayor Park Hyungjun) to operate a 'Visiting Tax Class' for prospective female entrepreneurs residing in Busan at the Dongnae Women's Resources Development Center on the 30th.

Since this year, the Busan office has been promoting support for the local economy that taxpayers can directly experience by operating customized tax classes and on-site consultation rooms to encourage women's economic activity and participation in society.

On this day, a customized tax class was held in collaboration with Busan City for prospective female entrepreneurs, and starting from August, it will be operated monthly in consultation with the Women's Resources Development Center.

The class introduced essential topics for prospective entrepreneurs, focusing on practical cases, from business registration applications to how to use Hometax for national tax-related matters.

Additionally, explanations were provided on local taxes commonly encountered in daily life, such as acquisition tax and property tax, as well as the taxpayer protection officer system.

In particular, various ways to access information via the internet and mobile, such as the National Tax Service blog, YouTube, and Sontax, were introduced to make it easier for prospective entrepreneurs to approach tax matters, along with essential tax-saving tips, which received a positive response. After the lecture, an on-site consultation room was operated to answer individual questions, providing an opportunity for participants to resolve their tax-related inquiries.

An official from the Busan office stated, "We plan to continue on-site communication by operating tax classes for small business owners and promoting various tax support systems through proactive administration."
