Recruitment of Companies with Over 20 Years of Business Experience Until August 16
Ulsan City is seeking "Exemplary Long-standing Companies" that have been operating in the Ulsan region for over 20 years and have contributed to the local community by creating jobs. Applications are open until the 16th.
This event has been held since 2021 to present a desirable model for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and to promote a respected corporate culture.
The eligibility criteria are as follows: ▲ At least 20 years of operation in Ulsan as of the announcement date ▲ Headquarters and main business site (factory) located in Ulsan ▲ An average of at least 10 full-time employees over the past three years ▲ SMEs in the manufacturing or knowledge service industries.
After a document review and on-site inspection evaluating business history, soundness, and contribution to the local economy, a final evaluation by the Certification Review Committee (in-person) will select approximately five companies in October.
Selected companies will receive benefits such as ▲ an Exemplary Long-standing Company certificate and plaque ▲ preferential support for SME management stabilization funds ▲ a three-year deferment of local tax audits ▲ support for overseas market development, among others.
Starting this year, the eligibility period for Exemplary Long-standing Companies has been relaxed from 30 years to 20 years to encourage more certifications.
Companies wishing to apply should submit their application form and required documents in person to the Ulsan City Corporate Support Division or via email by 6:00 PM on August 16.
An Ulsan City official stated, "As the criteria for Exemplary Long-standing Company designation have been eased, we hope that outstanding SMEs will take interest and apply," adding, "We will expand our support policies so that exemplary companies fulfilling their social responsibilities can foster a culture of respect."
