"This Time Gochang Hanwoo"... Lotte Mart Offers Half-Price Discount on All Items

'Paldo Usu Hanwoo' Project Underway
Characterized by Red Meat Color and Excellent Marbling

Lotte Mart announced on the 31st that it will offer Gochang Hanwoo beef at up to half price until the 4th of next month in celebration of the summer vacation season.

Since this year, Lotte Mart has been implementing the ‘Paldo Excellent Hanwoo’ project, introducing high-quality Hanwoo beef from across the country to customers. Starting with the first release of ‘Andong Hanwoo’ in March, it has successively launched Hanwoo from the Jirisan and Chamyeo regions. This has also contributed to sales growth, with the total sales of ‘Chamyeo Hanwoo’ in June increasing by about 20% compared to the same period last year.

This time, targeting summer outings, ‘1+ Grade Gochang Hanwoo Sirloin (100g)’ is offered to L.Point members at a 50% discount for 8,490 KRW, and ‘Gochang Hanwoo Soup Cuts and Bulgogi (100g)’ are also sold at half price for 3,990 KRW each. To prepare for this Gochang Hanwoo promotion, Lotte Mart conducted preliminary planning by visiting livestock farms in the Jeonbuk region since May and secured about 30 tons of Gochang Hanwoo supply.

Gochang Hanwoo is characterized by its red meat color and clear marbling, as the cattle are fed with self-produced feed. Additionally, differentiated hygiene management was implemented by spreading rice husks on the barn floors. In fact, Gochang Hanwoo was selected as a menu item for the summit dinner during former U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to Korea at the end of 2017, proving its excellent quality and taste.

Besides Gochang Hanwoo, popular grilled meat items will be sold at reasonable prices until the 7th. A 20% discount is offered when purchasing two or more of the ‘Hanwoo Half & Half Pack (Galbisal, Flower Galbisal)’ and ‘Hanwoo Party Pack (Buchae Sal, Sirloin, Chadolbagi)’, and ‘Australian Grain-Fed Chuck Eye Roll (100g)’ is offered at half price for L.Point members.
