The Gyeonggi Pass Subscribers Get 37% Discount at Lotte World Aquarium and Seoul Sky Gyeonggi Provincial Government

Gyeonggi Province, together with Lotte World Aquarium and Seoul Sky, will hold the ‘The Gyeonggi Pass Partnership Event’ from August 1 to 31.


This event, available to The Gyeonggi Pass subscribers and one accompanying person, offers a special discount of up to 37%. To participate, visitors need to verify their The Gyeonggi Pass subscription on the K-Pass app when purchasing admission tickets.


Subscription status for The Gyeonggi Pass can be checked on the initial screen of the K-Pass app or under ‘My Local Government’ in the K-Pass points accumulation history.


Adult admission to Lotte World Aquarium is normally 35,000 KRW, but The Gyeonggi Pass subscribers can enter for 22,000 KRW. Children’s tickets are reduced from 31,000 KRW to 19,500 KRW. Similarly, Seoul Sky admission is 22,000 KRW for adults and 19,500 KRW for children with The Gyeonggi Pass.


Nam Sang-eun, Director of the Gyeonggi Province Transportation Bureau, said, "We expect this partnership event to provide a special summer experience for The Gyeonggi Pass subscribers," adding, "We will continue to enhance convenience for The Gyeonggi Pass users through various events."


Meanwhile, The Gyeonggi Pass has 840,000 subscribers, accounting for 43% of the nationwide K-Pass subscribers, which total 1.94 million, making it the largest user base in the country.


The Gyeonggi Pass expands the K-Pass monthly limit of 60 rides to unlimited rides and refunds 20-53% of public transportation costs every month. Specifically, young adults in their 20s and 30s receive a 30% refund, those aged 40 and above get 20%, and low-income groups receive 53%. The age range for the 30% refund for youth has also been extended from 19-34 years to 19-39 years.


Residents wishing to use The Gyeonggi Pass can apply for a K-Pass dedicated card (credit/check card, etc.) through the K-Pass website or the websites of various card companies (Shinhan, KB Kookmin, NH Nonghyup, Woori, Hana, Samsung, Hyundai, BC, IBK Industrial Bank, Gwangju Bank, K-Bank, Lee Dong-ui Jeulgeoum, DGB U-Pay), and then register as a member on the K-Pass website.
