On the 30th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held an integrity education session for its employees at the City Hall Citizen Hall, focusing on the prohibition of workplace abuse and anti-corruption measures.
This training invited Moon Yanggeun, a certified integrity education instructor from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, to deliver lectures on the prohibition of workplace abuse as stipulated in the Code of Conduct for Public Officials, and the prohibition of the three major misconducts among public officials.
In the lecture on preventing workplace abuse, Instructor Moon analyzed generational perception gaps, the requirements and main types of workplace abuse, and response methods for each situation. During the session on preventing the three major misconducts (drunk driving, sexual misconduct, and bribery/entertainment), he explained relevant laws and various cases, receiving a positive response from the audience.
Shin Byungcheol, the audit officer, stated, "This was a meaningful training session that raised awareness among public officials about actions that are easily violated," and added, "I hope that, starting with this training, all staff members will work together to create a clean Changwon Special City free from workplace abuse, drunk driving, sexual misconduct, and bribery."
