KOSPI Falls Over 1%, Slips to 2730 Level

The KOSPI fell more than 1% due to selling pressure from foreigners and institutions, dropping to the 2730 level.

As of 2:14 PM on the 30th, the KOSPI is at 2735.63, down 29.90 points (-1.08%) from the previous trading day. The index opened at 2744.40, down 21.13 points (0.76%) from the previous day, and is extending its losses.

In the stock market, only individuals are net buyers with 691.2 billion KRW, while foreigners and institutions are net sellers with 394.4 billion KRW and 320 billion KRW, respectively.

Most of the top market capitalization stocks are declining. SK Hynix is down more than 3%, and Samsung Electronics is weak at -0.99%. Only LG Energy Solution is up more than 1%, which is attributed to Tesla's rise of over 5% in the New York stock market overnight.

EcoPro BM (4.04%) and EcoPro (0.84%) are also rising.

At the same time, the KOSDAQ index is at 802.32, down 5.67 points (-0.70%) from the previous trading day. Individuals and institutions are buying 138.7 billion KRW and 14.7 billion KRW, respectively, while foreigners are selling 134.1 billion KRW.

The top market capitalization stocks show mixed trends. Alteogen is up more than 6%, and EcoPro BM (4.04%) and EcoPro (0.84%) are also showing gains.
