On Monday the 29th, the sky will be occasionally cloudy nationwide, with the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Province expected to be mostly cloudy.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that rain will begin from dawn in the northern inland and mountainous areas of Gyeonggi and northern Gangwon, expanding by morning to Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, and the central and southern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon. Rain is expected to start in northern Chungbuk at night.


Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 30 mm in northern and southeastern Gyeonggi and the five western islands, 5 to 10 mm in Seoul, Incheon, and southwestern Gyeonggi. In the central and northern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, 5 to 30 mm; in the southern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, 5 to 10 mm; and in northern Chungbuk, 5 to 10 mm.


Morning low temperatures are expected to range from 22 to 29 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 28 to 36 degrees Celsius.


Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East and South Seas, and 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea.
