Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Thanks for Donation Supporting 'Protecting Community Safety Line'

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the donation ceremony for the ‘2024 Community Safety Line Protection Support Project’ held in the Mapo District Office’s main conference room on the morning of the 26th.

This donation ceremony was organized for the Seoul Community Chest of Korea to deliver a donation of 40 million won to the Mapo Welfare Foundation to support the resolution of emergency situations for vulnerable households.

At the ceremony, Shin Hye-young, Secretary General of the Seoul Community Chest of Korea, Cheon Bu-geon, Team Leader, Lee Hong-ju, Chairman of the Mapo Welfare Foundation, and Ahn Mi-soon, Secretary General, were present.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said, “I sincerely thank the Seoul Community Chest of Korea for generously donating valuable resources to support vulnerable households,” and added, “Mapo District believes that a society where people with disabilities, the elderly, and children are happy is an advanced society, and we will do our best to promote welfare policies.”
