Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Wins Grand Prize in 'Content' Category at Korea International Tourism Expo Gyeonggi-do Promotion Center

The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization received the 'Excellence Award' in the content category at the 9th Korea International Tourism Expo held for four days from the 19th at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Goyang City.


The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization was recognized by the organizing committee for its tourism promotion booth, which stood out in various aspects such as design, content, and events, providing visitors with valuable information and entertainment, greatly contributing to the successful hosting of the expo.


Through this promotional hall, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization introduced major tourist attractions in Gyeonggi Province, including 'Gwangmyeong Cave,' once a closed mine and now selected as one of Gyeonggi's top 10 tourist sites; 'Petite France,' a theme park where visitors can enjoy various cultural experiences and performances from Europe, including France; and 'Anseong Farmland,' a theme park utilizing the original ranch land.


A representative from the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization stated, "We devoted great effort to the design of the promotional hall and the selection of key tourism industry themes in the province so that more people could visit, and we are honored to receive the Excellence Award."


Meanwhile, the 9th Korea International Tourism Expo, hosted by the Korea International Tourism Expo Organizing Committee and organized by the Korea Exhibition Industry Agency, is held annually to promote excellent domestic and international tourist attractions and share tourism information.
