Kumho Tire Holds 'Kumho Dealer Convention' Event

Kumho Tire (CEO Jeong Il-taek) held the ‘KUMHO Dealer Convention’ event in S?o Paulo, Brazil, launching an offensive in the Latin American market.

From the 20th for three days, Kumho Tire conducted race experience activities such as watching the 4th round of the ‘2024 KUMHO FIA TCR World Tour’ held at the Interlagos circuit in S?o Paulo, Brazil, targeting Latin American dealers, as well as a Grid Walk.


Additionally, the company held the ‘2024 Latin America KUMHO Dealer Convention’ to introduce key products and sales/marketing strategies, including new products such as the ECSTA Sport S PS72, EV-exclusive Foam tires (ECSTA EV PS71, Majesti9 EV Solus TA91).


Kumho Tire invited about 50 major clients from the Latin American region to communicate directly with customers and enhance brand awareness of Kumho Tire in the Latin American market. The event was attended by Jeong Il-taek, President and CEO of Kumho Tire; Lim Seung-bin, Vice President of Sales Headquarters; Cho Nam-hwa, Executive Director of the Americas Headquarters; and Cho Dong-geun, Managing Director in charge of Latin American sales.


The Latin American market, including Brazil, is emerging as an explosive importer of electric vehicles, and Kumho Tire has designated it as a ‘strategic country’ among global export nations, conducting sales activities such as strengthening the global sales network. Currently, Kumho Tire’s sales in Latin America (based on tires) have shown a steady growth rate of 32.5% over three years.


The Latin American market continuously develops various new distribution channels in major countries based on an optimal global supply system and product portfolio. Through this event, Kumho Tire shared its vision and strategy with Latin American dealers, further solidifying strategic partnerships and enhancing communication.


CEO Jeong Il-taek said, "Kumho Tire has recently recorded high growth and expects the highest sales performance since its founding in 2024 through aggressive investment and technological advancement. Kumho Tire aims to become a leading company driving the future mobility market through EV tire innovation and will provide timely product supply services to global dealers by optimizing the global supply chain and innovating delivery/logistics processes."


Cho Nam-hwa, Executive Director of the Americas Headquarters, said, "The Latin American market continues to grow steadily, with both sales and profits improving stably. The Latin American market is an emerging blue chip among Kumho Tire’s export countries, and we are actively working to build the ‘Kumho Tire’ brand awareness."
