At this expo, Nonghyup Bank will operate promotional booths for 11 companies among those nurtured and invested in by its agri-food fund. On the 26th, it will share the current status and prospects of agri-food and food tech startups at the "Private Investment Conference Leading Innovation in the Agri-food Industry," co-hosted with Nonghyup University. A professional panel discussion will also be held to derive ways to create a sustainable agri-food investment ecosystem.
Nonghyup Bank is the largest operator of agri-food funds in Korea, managing a total of six funds (274.1 billion KRW), including the "Hope Agricultural Innovation Fund" established in April this year, and providing financial support to 37 companies.
Lee Seok-yong, President of Nonghyup Bank, stated, "Through this expo, we will play a role in driving private investment in the currently stagnant agri-food sector," adding, "We will lay the foundation for the growth of the startup ecosystem in the agri-food sector through multifaceted efforts such as linking businesses within the Nonghyup group and providing financial support."
