Mapo-gu to Conduct 2024 Resident Registration Fact-Finding Survey Until October 15...Non-Face-to-Face Survey Followed by Visit Survey
Focus on High-Risk Welfare Crisis Households, Long-Term Unrecognized Absences, and Households with School-Age Children Not Yet Enrolled
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, "Resident Registration Fact-Finding Survey Is Basic Data for Policy...Please Actively Participate in Non-Face-to-Face Survey"
Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) will conduct the "2024 Resident Registration Fact Survey" to verify whether the registered address and actual residence match by October 15.
In particular, due to the increase in dual-income and single-person households, Mapo-gu will first carry out a non-face-to-face digital survey until August 26 this year.
The non-face-to-face survey is conducted by having the survey target access the "Government24" app and respond to the fact survey items.
To confirm via location-based (GPS) verification that the target resides at the registered address, participation must be made from the registered address, and in this case, one person per household with the same address can respond on behalf of the entire household.
This year, for convenient responses, a dedicated fact survey page is operated within the "Government24" app, and participation is possible through a one-time simple authentication without signing up as a member of the "Government24" app.
From August 27 to October 15, community leaders and local resident center officials will visit residences to conduct direct surveys for households that did not participate in the non-face-to-face survey.
The key survey targets this year include ▲ centenarians aged 100 or older ▲ long-term missing residents for over 5 years ▲ high-risk welfare crisis households ▲ suspected deceased persons ▲ households including long-term unexcused absentees and school-age children not enrolled in school.
However, even if the non-face-to-face survey is completed for those in the key survey target group, a visit survey will be conducted to strengthen the social safety net.
If the visit survey finds discrepancies between actual residence and resident registration details, the district will proceed with correction procedures ex officio through additional verification surveys.
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, "Since the resident registration fact survey serves as the basic data for all policies, we ask for the active participation and cooperation of Mapo-gu residents, and hope you will conveniently participate through the non-face-to-face digital survey."
