Shinhan Investment Corp. Awarded 'House of the Year' by the Korean Derivatives Society

Shinhan Investment Corp. announced on the 25th that it has been awarded the Derivatives House of the Year by the Korea Derivatives Association.

The Korea Derivatives Association was established in 1991 to research and disseminate theories and empirical analyses of on- and off-exchange derivatives and their systems. It is an academic society that contributes to the development of capital markets through various activities such as publishing academic journals via scholarly exchanges with domestic and international scholars and related institutions, holding regular academic conferences and seminars, and conducting research presentations and discussions.

At this year's association event, Shinhan Investment Corp. was recognized for its proactive product offerings accompanied by customer protection. In particular, it was acknowledged for expanding the supply of principal-protected ELB products in response to growing customer demand for stable structured products, and for efforts to protect customer assets by supplying only products with maturity repayment barriers set below 50% and adding lizard options amid the sharp rise of the Nikkei 225 index.

Additionally, the company was noted for supplying equity-linked derivatives in local markets such as Europe, Japan, and Hong Kong. Especially, through the supply of ELS auto-pricers, Shinhan Investment Corp. was recognized for contributing to financial consumer utility by enabling customers in its retail channel to immediately structure and trade ELS by inputting their desired conditions.
