The market development team will conduct market development activities such as promoting their products and meeting with local buyers in Singapore and Malaysia for five days from October 21 to October 25.

Eight companies will participate, and the city is accepting applications until the 29th. SMEs under Article 2 of the 'Framework Act on Small and Medium Enterprises' whose business sites (including headquarters) or factory locations are in Icheon City as of the announcement date, and whose export amount last year was less than 20 million USD, can apply.

The city will support participating companies with ▲ buyer discovery and arrangement ▲ one-on-one buyer consultation arrangement ▲ interpretation fees for consultations ▲ all expenses related to export consultation operations including consultation arrangement service fees ▲ partial airfare (one person per company, up to 50%).

Companies wishing to participate can apply online through the 'EasyBiz' website. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Gyeonggawon Eastern Regional Center or the Icheon City Hall Corporate Economy Division.

Previously, last month, Icheon City dispatched an overseas market development team to Japan, achieving 80 export consultations and promoting contracts worth 4.17 million USD.

Kim Kyung-hee, Mayor of Icheon City, said, "We hope that this ASEAN market development team will achieve good results and expand overseas market entry just like Japan."
