CI Tech Passes Verification as Priority Purchase Intelligent Information Product for Unmanned Civil Service Issuance Machines

CI Tech announced on the 25th that its 'Unmanned Civil Service Issuance Machine (CI-9000H)' has passed the public sector product verification as an intelligent information product prioritized for purchase by the Ministry of Science and ICT.

The prioritized purchase intelligent information product system means that when national institutions install unmanned information terminals (kiosks), they are required to give priority to purchasing products that have passed accessibility verification.

CI Tech's 'Unmanned Civil Service Issuance Machine' is an electronic device that allows civil petitioners to directly issue civil documents. It is one of CI Tech's main products.

The company explained, "According to Article 15, Paragraph 3 of the Act on the Prohibition of Discrimination against Disabled Persons and Remedy against Infringement of Their Rights, and Article 10-2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Prohibition of Discrimination against Disabled Persons and Remedy against Infringement of Their Rights, public institutions have been mandated since January 28 of this year to introduce unmanned information terminals (kiosks) that guarantee information accessibility."

CI Tech, aiming to create a society without discrimination in the use of information and communication services between non-disabled and disabled persons, had its affiliate Naicom develop a new accessibility-enhanced book lending and return system (EZ-2620HSC) and was the first in the public sector to obtain the Ministry of Science and ICT's certification as a prioritized purchase intelligent information product. By acquiring the Ministry of Science and ICT certification for this unmanned civil service issuance machine, CI Tech is leading the barrier-free service sector in the public domain.

A CI Tech representative stated, "As a leading kiosk company, we are pursuing the strategic task of 'equipping accessibility functions across all product lines,'" adding, "We have completed development and are currently testing barrier-free kiosks for hospital reception and prescriptions, and plan to expand this to the entire private sector starting from this."
