Dongwon F&B Donates 70,000 Bottles of Dongwon Saemmul to Flood-Affected Pohang and Wando

Dongwon F&B announced on the 25th that it donated 70,000 bottles (500ml) of Dongwon Spring Water to the Pohang area in Gyeongsangbuk-do and the Wando area in Jeollanam-do, which were damaged by heavy rain, in collaboration with the international children's rights NGO Save the Children.

The Dongwon Spring Water donated this time was prepared through the Dongwon Spring Water 70,000 Bottles Donation Challenge held on the walking and running platform 'Runday.' This challenge is a social campaign that supports one bottle of Dongwon Spring Water for every 1 km when the cumulative running distance of participants exceeds 70,000 km. About 5,600 people participated in this challenge.

Previously, since 2022, Dongwon F&B has donated 100,000 bottles of Dongwon Spring Water to vulnerable groups and island areas in collaboration with Save the Children and the Korea Saesaengmyeong Welfare Foundation.

A Dongwon F&B official said, "We hope this donation will be of some help to the residents of the areas affected by the record-breaking heavy rain and heatwave," adding, "We will continue to practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management and strive to fulfill our social responsibilities through various activities that can contribute to our society."
