Graduate Students Nationwide Research Projects on Shipping, Ports, and Logistics Issues
Busan Port Authority (BPA) is recruiting applicants for the 2024 BPA Jump-Up Campus program, a research support project related to Busan Port for graduate students nationwide.
The BPA Jump-Up Campus program provides comprehensive support for research projects on current issues in Busan Port, shipping, port, and logistics sectors for master's and doctoral students across the country. Support includes research funding for each project and expert-linked consulting.
This program began in 2019 and supported 37 research projects from 7 universities through 2023. This year, 10 projects will be selected through a public call for proposals.
The application period for research projects runs until August 2. To participate, refer to the announcement posted on the Busan Port Authority website and submit a research project plan to the official email address provided.
Kang Junseok, President of BPA, stated, "Through the BPA Jump-Up Campus program, we aim to raise interest and awareness of Busan Port among the younger generation, support the cultivation of outstanding future experts in shipping, port, and logistics, and establish a foundation for future growth in the shipping, port, and logistics industry."
