Communication with Life Support Workers and Listening to Their Difficulties
Sancheong County, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 24th that it held a 'Customized Elderly Care Service Support Workers Meeting' at the county office's administrative meeting room.
The meeting was attended by County Governor Lee Seunghwa and 13 support workers from four institutions providing customized care services.
County Governor Lee Seunghwa is engaging in communication administration by listening to difficulties and other matters with a customized care service life supporter for the elderly in the county administration meeting room.
During the meeting, participants discussed and communicated about difficulties encountered on the job and issues related to improving working conditions.
Customized elderly care service support workers play a significant role in preventing solitary deaths and identifying and addressing welfare blind spots by providing safety checks, daily life safety inspections, and health and welfare information to seniors who have difficulty managing daily life.
Currently, about 140 support workers are active in Sancheong County.
Governor Lee said, "I express my gratitude to the support workers who are dedicated to providing care on the frontlines even in the hot weather," and added, "We will actively gather the various opinions shared at this meeting and provide support so that you can work in a better environment."
