Homeplus announced on the 24th that it will start pre-orders for Chuseok gift sets from the 25th. Considering that the pre-order ratio accounted for 75% and 70% of gift set sales during last year's Chuseok and this year's Lunar New Year respectively, this Chuseok pre-order period has been set for a whopping 44 days.

During this pre-order period, Homeplus will offer about 800 types of gift sets at discounts of up to 50%. For representative holiday products such as galbi and Korean beef (Hanwoo), a wide range of options will be available, from practical products priced in the 40,000 KRW range to premium products priced in the 400,000 KRW range. For fruits, apple and pear gift sets will be sold at prices around 50,000 to 60,000 KRW. Seafood gift sets include seaweed sets under 10,000 KRW and dried yellow corvina (gulbi) sets in the 100,000 KRW range. Alcohol gift sets will mainly feature wines priced between 30,000 and 50,000 KRW.

Models are introducing the '2024 Chuseok Gift Set Pre-Order' at the Homeplus Mega Food Market Gangseo branch in Deungchon-dong, Seoul on the 24th.

Homeplus also stated that 68% of all gift sets during this pre-order period are composed of practical sets priced under 30,000 KRW. This composition ratio has increased by about 20% compared to last Chuseok. Representative products include ▲Sincere Mixed Shiitake Mushroom Set ▲Chungju Washed Apple Set ▲CJ Spam Combo No.1 ▲LG Lifestyle Elegance Gift Set No.1 ▲Two-Star Hanwoo NO.9 Beef Bone Soup Gift Set ▲Hwaggabang Jihyeon Yanggaeng Set No.3.

Exclusive gift sets available only at Homeplus include ▲Redbreast 12 Years ▲Amankaya ▲Anshim Special Plus ▲LG Botanic Perfume Collection H ▲LG Sincere Premium Gift Set No.1. Additionally, Homeplus will sell 'Low-Carbon Hanwoo 1+ Grade Gift Sets (3 types)' reflecting eco-friendly and ethical consumption trends during this pre-order. These products are produced by four Hanwoo farms in Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk, certified for low carbon emissions.

Pre-order gift set purchases can receive up to 50% discounts when paying with 13 major event cards, and up to 6 million KRW in gift certificates or instant discounts depending on the purchase amount. For purchases over 50,000 KRW using 10 major event cards, interest-free benefits are provided, and free delivery is offered for purchases over 30,000 KRW. Additionally, online pre-orders over 100,000 KRW will receive an extra 10% discount coupon.
