The clinic started on the 8th of this month and will continue until the 30th of next month. LS Mtron autonomous operation tractor staff and local dealership employees visit farms to hold the clinic. The clinic is conducted in the order of operating (driving) clinic and service clinic.
They provide a usage guide for autonomous operation tractors. The goal is to increase customer satisfaction through tractor inspections, partial device and software upgrades, and more. Based on VOC (Voice of Customer) received during the clinic, they plan to strengthen autonomous operation tractor technology and customer service.
The operating clinic is a program that guides the use of various functions such as HMI settings. It teaches how to set up the satellite navigation system (GPS) and create work routes. A video manual that can be checked anytime and anywhere is also provided.
The service clinic is a program that upgrades the exterior of the autonomous operation tractor and HMI software. The recently renewed LS autonomous operation tractor signature design is applied identically to the autonomous operation tractors currently used by existing buyers.
Additionally, tractors are inspected on-site during the clinic, and customer VOC issues received during the operating clinic are addressed.
LS Mtron commercialized autonomous operation tractors for the first time in Korea in 2021. It is the only company in Korea selling Level 3.5 tractors. Level 3.5 tractors are equipped with obstacle detection and emergency stop functions, which are considered core technologies for fully unmanned tractors.
Shin Jae-ho, President of LS Mtron, said, "Customer expectations for LS Mtron’s autonomous operation tractors, the first commercialized in Korea, are high," and added, "We will expand convenience for farmers through differentiated one-on-one customer visit clinics."
