Major Sizes Sold Out Within 2 Weeks of This Year's Launch

LF's global sports brand 'Reebok' announced on the 24th that the 'Hyperium Slide,' launched as a summer strategic product, sold 25,000 pairs in just two months.

The Hyperium Slide, released last year and causing an early sell-out, features a thick sole and sporty design, resembling 'dad sandals.' The product immediately went into reorder, and from the 3rd of this month, two rounds of pre-orders began. On the day of the pre-order release, more than 3,000 pairs were sold. Sales of the Hyperium Slide this year surged by over 300% compared to the previous year.

Among all buyers, those in their 20s and 30s account for more than 90%. Thanks to the Hyperium Slide, the number of customers in their 20s registered on the official Reebok online store increased by 30% compared to last year.

Regarding this popularity, a Reebok representative explained, “This product can be worn in two styles, sandals and slides, simply by attaching or detaching the strap, making it highly versatile for both everyday life and vacation spots. Also, since it is made of a material that is not burdensome even when wet, it gained popularity as a rainy season item.”

Thanks to the Hyperium Slide, Reebok's sales in the first half of this year increased by 30% compared to the previous year. Since the second half of last year, sequential investments have been made focusing on major commercial areas, such as the renewal of the Starfield Goyang store and the opening of the Starfield Suwon store, resulting in offline store sales growing by more than 50% compared to the previous year.

Meanwhile, the global sports brand Reebok has a deep history of 129 years. LF has been operating the global sports brand Reebok in the domestic market since October 2022. This year, LF is expanding the lineup from various sneakers with Reebok’s heritage to sports lifestyle apparel, solidifying its image as a heritage brand that covers all styles and age groups.
