On the 23rd, Trump confirmed this in a post on the social networking service (SNS) 'Truth Social,' saying, "I look forward to welcoming Prime Minister Netanyahu at Mar-a-Lago (resort)." He initially wrote in his first post that the meeting would take place on the 24th, but later explained in an additional post, "At Netanyahu's request, we changed the meeting to the 26th."

Trump stated, "During my first term, we secured peace and stability in the region (Middle East) and signed the historic Abraham Accords," adding, "We will do it again." The signing of the Abraham Accords refers to the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between Israel and Arab countries such as the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, and Morocco, under then-President Trump's administration in 2020.

Additionally, Trump said, "My 'peace through strength' agenda will show the world that these terrible and deadly wars and violent conflicts must end," and claimed, "(Democratic presidential candidate front-runner) Harris (Vice President Kamala Harris) does not have the ability to stop this."

Netanyahu, who departed for the U.S. on the 22nd, is scheduled to deliver a speech at the U.S. Congress on the 24th and hold a summit with President Joe Biden on the 25th. At this meeting, Netanyahu is expected to appeal for support regarding the war between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas.
