Pukyong National University Holds Completion Ceremony for Humanities, Social Sciences, and Business Building Expansion

Advanced Educational Research Environment and Creation of a Converged Campus

Pukyong National University (President Jang Youngsoo) held a completion ceremony for the expansion of the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Business Administration Building on the 23rd.

Pukyong National University invested 5.5 billion KRW to begin vertical expansion construction of two additional floors with a total floor area of 2,600 square meters in June last year, and completed the project this month.

Through this project, Pukyong National University added two floors to the connecting building that links the 10-story and 14-story Humanities, Social Sciences, and Business Administration Buildings. As a result, the connecting building, which previously consisted of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors, now includes the 6th and 7th floors.

With this expansion, Pukyong National University has consolidated spaces for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the College of Business Administration, and secured additional large lecture halls and research rooms for education and research in basic academic fields.

In addition to this expansion, Pukyong National University is also promoting the construction of new buildings such as the Advanced Laboratory and Practice Lecture Hall, the Second Fisheries Science Hall, the College of Information Convergence, and the Student Union Building, creating a campus environment for advanced and convergent education and research.
