Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation held a public procurement consultation meeting on the 22nd at the Suwon Convention Center, with the participation of 41 small and medium-sized enterprises.
Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) held a public procurement consultation meeting on the 22nd at the Suwon Convention Center to expand market access support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This was the first time GH organized and hosted a public procurement consultation meeting.
The event was attended by 41 SMEs, which participated in one-on-one matching consultations with 13 GH ordering departments.
Prior to the event, GH selected SMEs corresponding to the demand items (including items of interest) for each department, and ordering officers participated as public procurement consultants to enhance the effectiveness of public procurement.
On the day, GH also operated consultation booths for securing new sales channels and exchanging information on products in the public procurement sector.
Kim Se-yong, President of GH, stated, "We focused on holding a procurement consultation meeting that leads to contracts rather than a formal public procurement consultation meeting," adding, "We expect that it was of practical help to the participating companies."
