Gyeonggi Office of Education Publishes School Opening Work Manual After 10 Years

Gyeonggi Office of Education Publishes School Opening Work Manual After 10 Years Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has republished the school opening operation manual for the first time in 10 years.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has published the "Administrative Guidelines for Opening New Schools," which incorporates voices from the field to ensure the smooth opening of newly established schools.

This guideline has been newly revised for the first time in 10 years since 2014 and includes ▲ Neulbom School ▲ Barrier-Free (BF) Certification ▲ Safe Facility Management for New Schools ▲ and comprehensive guidance on overall school operations.

In particular, the contents are arranged in chronological order of tasks, and the overall schedule for opening tasks is presented in a table for easy overview. Accordingly, staff in charge can proceed with tasks according to the schedule and continuously monitor the progress.

To create the guidelines, the Office collected and analyzed existing work materials and visited new schools directly to listen to the difficulties and demands of on-site staff.

Lee Geun-gyu, Director of the School Establishment Planning Division at the Provincial Office of Education, expressed expectations, saying, "With the publication of these opening task guidelines, it is expected to be practically helpful not only for schools opening in September this year but also for the preparation of new schools in developing areas and the 3rd New Towns within the province."
