Gwangyang Chamber of Commerce and City Council Hold Agreement Ceremony for Economic Development

Held a Meeting for Economic Development of Gwangyang City

The Gwangyang Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jeonnam (Chairman Woo Gwang-il) held a meeting for the economic development of Gwangyang City and signed a mutual cooperation agreement with the Gwangyang City Council on the 22nd at the 3rd-floor meeting room of the Gwangyang City Council.


This agreement was prepared to support local commerce and industry and contribute to the growth and development of the regional economy. Both organizations agreed to promote ▲ policy meetings for revitalizing the local economy ▲ participation in research, cooperation, and educational programs to enhance the expertise of economic revitalization and legislative activities ▲ promotional projects to improve the image of a business-friendly city ▲ hosting necessary events for future-oriented mutual development between the two organizations ▲ and other matters recognized as necessary for cooperation between the two organizations.

Chairman Choi Dae-won stated, “This agreement is significant as it establishes an organic cooperative system between the Gwangyang Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the city for the economic development of Gwangyang. We will seek multifaceted cooperation plans with the Chamber of Commerce to improve the business environment within the jurisdiction and create investment conditions to revitalize the local economy.”


Chairman Woo Gwang-il said, “I sincerely congratulate the opening of the newly formed 9th term second half of the Gwangyang City Council. Through this agreement, I hope the City Council and the Chamber of Commerce will communicate and cooperate more closely so that Gwangyang can contribute more to leaping and growing as a new industry hub centered on secondary batteries.”
