Announcement of Building a Smart and Clean New Life Trend
Smart home appliance specialist DREAME announced on the 23rd that its "flagship robot vacuum cleaner equipped with robotic arm technology" has surpassed 1 million units in global cumulative sales.
According to the brand, the global cumulative sales of DREAME robot vacuum cleaners have exceeded 2.4 million units, showing a 300% growth compared to the previous year. Through this growth, DREAME aims to establish a smart and clean new lifestyle trend.
DREAME's R&D team conducted over 37 solution tests and 1,000 scenario tests over six months to launch a product featuring the "robotic arm" function. Subsequently, in February of this year, they expanded the side brush and applied the "Dual Flex Arm Technology" with two arms, known as the "dual robotic arm." This function combines the side brush and mop pad to recognize corners and edges that are easily missed without blind spots.
According to DREAME's consumer research team, consumer satisfaction is high regarding the main performance of the "dual robotic arm" technology, which is the mop pad extension (edge cleaning). Additionally, DREAME has achieved a high-speed motor of 200,000 RPM and possesses the technological capability to mass-produce motors reaching 160,000 RPM and 180,000 RPM.
A DREAME representative stated, "This sales record is the result of DREAME's unique technological innovation, and once again, we aim to present a paradigm of a smart and clean lifestyle." They added, "Going forward, DREAME will continue to strive to provide excellent and smart home appliance experiences to consumers worldwide through technological innovation and strategy."
According to the brand, DREAME robot vacuum cleaners are currently sold in over 100 countries, including South Korea, the United States, Germany, and France. From October 2023 to March 2024, they held the number one market share, capturing 47.8% in early March and over 60% in the high-end market. In Italy, they secured first place by surpassing a 43% market share in March 2024, and in Singapore, they ranked among the top with a 31% market share in the first quarter of 2024.
