Metropolitan Village Water Supply (Yurim District) Installation Project
Visit to Public Sewage Treatment Facility Site in Daepo Songok District
Jin Byeongyeong, the governor of Hamyang County in Gyeongnam, announced on the 23rd that he had inspected the sites of the regional village water supply (Yurim District) installation project and the Daepo Songok District township-level public sewage treatment facility installation project.
The regional village water supply (Yurim District) installation project has formed a council to ensure a stable water supply to residents by providing water to 13 villages in the areas of Hyeocheon-myeon and Yurim-myeon.
County Governor Jin Byungyoung is conducting an on-site inspection of the water supply and sewage project in Hucheon-myeon.
In addition, the Daepo Songok District township-level public sewage treatment facility installation project, which began construction in December last year, has successfully resolved opposition from residents regarding expansion, and aims to be completed by February 2026 to ensure the stable use of public sewage systems.
During this inspection, Governor Jin ordered thorough management and supervision of construction oversight duties to establish a safety and health management system in accordance with laws related to the punishment of serious accidents.
He especially requested that efforts be made to educate construction workers at the site to raise safety awareness and do their utmost to prevent safety accidents.
Governor Jin emphasized, "All projects carried out by the county office are directly connected to the development of Hamyang County, and especially water and sewage projects are crucial for the safe lives of residents, so please do your best to ensure the smooth progress of these projects."
