At the '2024 Saebit Meeting' for the Gwonseon-gu area held at Bitnuri Art Hall on the 22nd, Mayor Lee said, "We are starting the 'Suwon Great Transformation' through a great transformation of space, economy, and citizens' lives," emphasizing, "As an urban planning expert, I will devote all my experience and capabilities to making Suwon the most livable city and a global city advancing to the world."
The '2024 Saebit Meeting' that began on this day is an event where Mayor Lee visits the Gwonseon, Yeongtong, Paldal, and Jangan districts to explain major city administration plans and key projects in each area and engage in dialogue with citizens.
The Gwonseon-gu area Saebit Meeting will proceed in the order of Seodun, Ip-buk, and Pyeong-dong on the 23rd, followed by Seryu 1, 2, and 3-dong, Gwonseon 1 and 2-dong, and Gokseon-dong on the 24th, after Guun, Geumgok, and Homaesil-dong.
On this day, Mayor Lee explained major projects in Guun-dong, Geumgok-dong, and Homaesil-dong, including the creation of upper space at Hwanggujicheon Sewage Treatment Plant, Ilwol Park's sports facilities, Geumgok-dong Public Library, and the construction of Homaesil Sports Center.
