Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 23rd that it will operate the 'Jungang-dong Urban Regeneration Resident Capacity Building Special Lecture' to revitalize resident-led urban regeneration projects.
The special lectures will be held six times from the 24th until October at the Cheoin-gu Jungang-dong Administrative Welfare Center and the Jungang-dong Urban Regeneration Field Support Center. Each session accommodates 30 participants.
The Jungang-dong urban regeneration project targets an area of 200,467㎡ around 137-1, Kimryangjang-dong, Cheoin-gu. It is a project to revitalize the old downtown and promote commercial district activation by utilizing local resources around Yongin Jungang Market, a representative traditional market in Yongin.

Anyone residing in Yongin City or affiliated with workplaces or schools within the district can participate.
