Boseong-gun Launches 'Communication 600, One Text Message' Service

Operating a 'Direct Text Channel' for Direct Communication with Residents

Resolving Residents' Minor Issues with Just 'One Text Message'

Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that starting from the 22nd, it will operate the direct text message service for the county head, ‘Sotong600, One Text Message,’ to reflect even the small voices of residents in county administration.

The ‘Sotong600, One Text Message’ service is a communication channel that simplifies the reception process as much as possible so that the county head can directly listen to residents' inconveniences, grievances, and suggestions and promptly handle civil complaints.

Boseong residents can send their inconvenience reports via direct text messages anytime, including weekday nights and weekends, without needing to check the relevant department or person in charge.

Simple issues among the received messages are addressed immediately, and those requiring review are handled by text or phone within two days on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Complaints received during weekends (Friday 6 p.m. to Sunday) will be addressed on the following weekday.

Boseong-gun expects that the establishment of this communication channel will greatly help minimize residents' inconveniences and improve the quality of civil complaint consultation services.

County Head Kim Cheol-woo said, “We have prepared a channel to communicate with residents as quickly as possible.” He added, “We will conduct communication administration by reflecting the vivid and diverse voices of residents and personally take care of even small matters related to the region.”
