Animal Behavior Correction Training Center Temporarily Operated as Water Playground
Shilla University (President Heo Namsik) announced on the 22nd that the I-URP Project Group has opened a water play area to help beat the summer heat.
The Shilla University Companion Animal Industry Specialized University Innovation Research Park (I-URP) Project Group has temporarily converted its animal behavior correction training center into a water play area, operating it until August 19 so that local residents and pet owners with their dogs can enjoy a cool summer.
The university is providing the water play service in cooperation with The Bareum Co., Ltd. and Palacio, companies with extensive experience in swimming pool facility management and operation. The purpose of the I-URP Project Group is to offer various activity opportunities to local residents by utilizing idle facilities on campus during the summer season.
The water play area can accommodate up to 150 people at once. The admission fee is 15,000 KRW, and 25,000 KRW for those accompanied by pets. Discounts are available for groups of 30 or more and for people with disabilities.

Bae Ilkwon, head of the Shilla University I-URP Project Group, stated, "The opening of this swimming pool is more than just providing a water play facility; it is an important step toward coexisting with the local community," and added, "I hope this place becomes a venue everyone can enjoy through various programs and events open to local residents."
During the operation of the water play area, the Shilla University I-URP Project Group is also running an agility field within the Shilla University Pet Park to ensure convenience for pet owners.
