On the 23rd, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will hold the 'Career Dream Festival for Students with Disabilities' at Bucheon Sangnok School.
This event is a competition where students with developmental disabilities showcase the job skills they have honed for social independence. This year, about 230 participants including 86 students with developmental disabilities enrolled in special schools and special classes at the high school level, special education teachers, and parents will take part.
The students will compete in six categories divided into morning and afternoon sessions: leathercraft, science kit assembly, barista skills, product packaging, office support, and food service. The Office of Education will grant the winning students the qualification to represent Gyeonggi Province at the national competition to be held in October in Gimhae City, Gyeongnam.
