Offline Order and Payment 'Tablelo' Expands to Rest Areas Nationwide

Resolving Inconvenience of Rest Area Kiosk Orders and Queuing
Plan to Expand to 100 Locations Within the Year

Changupin announced on the 22nd that it will expand the service of 'Tablelo,' an offline ordering and payment service for the digital transformation of highway rest areas. Tablelo, operated by Changupin, is a service that allows offline store visitors to order and pay directly from their smartphones at the seat by using NFC or QR codes attached to each table. Currently, the cumulative number of users at department stores, marts, and other stores is approaching 500,000.

Changupin has collaborated with Korea Expressway Corporation Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters, Daebo Distribution, and others since April last year to build a Tablelo-based ordering system in stores within rest areas, aiming to resolve the inconvenience caused by ordering through kiosks and waiting in line for highway rest area users.

Accordingly, Changupin has advanced the service into a 'mobile-kiosk' that not only supports ordering via NFC and QR codes suitable for the bustling rest area environment but also sends mobile notifications requesting customers to pick up their prepared food. Currently, the service is available at more than 40 rest areas nationwide.

Changupin, together with Korea Expressway Corporation Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters, aims to expand the service to 100 locations nationwide within the year to enhance user convenience and accelerate the digital transformation of highway rest areas. Jung Jae-hoon, Vice President of Changupin, said, "The strength of Tablelo lies in providing customized services suitable for various industries and business environments," adding, "We will accelerate expansion so that many users can enjoy an improved ordering experience at highway rest areas across the country."
