Applications open until the 26th, support expanded from 5 knowledge industry centers last year to 10 this year with 5 million won each... Providing cultural experience opportunities open to both knowledge industry center tenants and local residents, driving regional economic revitalization
Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeong Wono) is recruiting centers to participate in the 'Knowledge Industry Center Open Cultural Project' until the 26th.
Seongdong-gu supports cultural projects such as busking at knowledge industry centers to provide cultural experience opportunities to employees of companies residing in knowledge industry centers concentrated in the Seongsu semi-industrial area and to revitalize the Seongsu IT Industry and Distribution Development Promotion District.
Since this project is promoted as a local festival enjoyed by not only company employees but also local residents, it greatly contributes to revitalizing the local economy.
The district has expanded the scale of support from 5 million won each for 5 centers to 5 million won each for 10 centers starting this year.
Applicants must be knowledge industry centers located in Seongdong-gu, and applications can be submitted via email by 6 p.m. on the 26th or in person at the Regional Economy Division of Seongdong-gu Office.
More detailed information on eligibility and required documents can be found in the announcement section on the Seongdong-gu Office website.
Jeong Wono, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, said, "We expect the local festival enjoyed by both center employees and local residents to become lively through support for cultural projects at knowledge industry centers," adding, "We will continue to strive to revitalize the local economy through various support for companies in the region."
