NH Investment & Securities stated that the global network outage and service disruption incident that occurred on the 19th will raise awareness of cybersecurity, and predicted that Genieons will benefit from this.

Shim Eui-seop, a researcher at NH Investment & Securities, explained in a report on the 22nd, "Genieons' EDR solution recorded an overwhelming market share of 78% in the procurement market last year, ranking first." He added, "Unlike cloud environments operating remotely, it secured operational stability based on on-premises infrastructure."

He continued, "With the strengthening of security policies in various countries, business opportunities will become more prominent," and added, "Along with efforts to expand business, we expect business results in various areas including not only NAC but also EDR and ZTNA solutions." He also forecasted, "In Korea as well, growth speed will accelerate due to benefits from expanded government policies and the increase in win-back and new adoption by private companies."

On the 19th, a 'global IT crisis' occurred, causing aircraft operations to be suspended worldwide and infrastructure such as broadcasting, telecommunications, and finance to be paralyzed simultaneously. It was identified that the incident was caused by a conflict between CrowdStrike's EDR solution Falcon Sensor update, which provides a security platform based on Microsoft's cloud service (Azure) for servers or PCs using Microsoft's operating system (OS), and the MS Windows OS.

Researcher Shim analyzed, "Although steady performance growth has continued every year, Genieons' stock price has fallen more than 30% since the beginning of the year due to off-season poor performance and lack of interest." He added, "Based on this year's estimates, the price-to-earnings ratio (PER) is about 8.3 times," and "It is judged to be undervalued at about 6.6 times based on next year's estimates."
