Kim was also recently ranked number one worldwide in IQ by Reader's Digest. At that time, he posted on social media (SNS), "I am honored to have been ranked first among the top 50 people with the highest IQs in history by Reader's Digest this year," adding, "I am pleased to be able to promote a positive image of the Republic of Korea to the world." He first gained recognition in 2015 when he appeared on SBS's 'Genius Discovery Team.' At that time, appearing as the third highest IQ in the world, he demonstrated his genius by memorizing two randomly shuffled decks of poker cards (104 cards) in about 10 minutes. He is currently the founder and CEO of the World Intelligence Association (USIA). This association includes over 100 professors from the world's top universities such as Harvard, Yale, and Princeton, including seven Nobel laureates.

This once again shows that Koreans are intelligent. Among the famous people we know, many have genius-level brains. There is a group that only admits members who are officially recognized as having high IQs. This organization, Mensa, is named by combining the Latin words for table (mensa), mind (mens), and month (mensis). We looked into famous Koreans who are members of Mensa.

KBS comedian Jung Chul-gyu is the first comedian to become a Mensa member. He was deemed unmeasurable during the test, which also means his IQ is above 156. He was selected as a special recruit comedian in 2003 and became beloved for catchphrases like "Boss, you're mean." This is considered a case proving that you need to be smart to be a comedian.

The first idol to earn the title of Mensa member was Park Kyung, who debuted in 2011 with the boy idol group Block B. He became a member after taking the Mensa test at the recommendation of the production team of the variety show 'Problematic Men,' scoring an IQ of 156. He is a graduate of a math gifted program.

Han Jun-ho, director of Saerogeum Research Institute, is a man with a diverse past. He has transformed like a chameleon, working as a computer programmer, analyst, announcer, public official, and startup CEO. During his time as an analyst, he was frequently requested for media interviews. It was around this time that the public learned he was a Mensa member. Seeing this, his seniors told him, "You should be on TV."

He decided to switch to broadcasting. After working as an announcer for a long time, he ended his 15-year announcer career in 2018. He then worked as an administrator at the Blue House for six months. He told JobsN, "When I judge that I have done everything I can in my current place, and feel that I have fulfilled my role as a professional, I think it's time to leave." After leaving the Blue House, he founded Saerogeum Power Plant in April 2019 and is currently serving as its CEO. Saerogeum Power Plant supports education on innovation and startups and produces and distributes related content.
